Meet Lipsticker
Sarah, Taylor, Vincent, Carlo and Isaiah are members of the El Paso, Tx based band Lipsticker, who came together as music loving people do and produced a debut album aptly named "Syzygy".
The album is a synergy of musical influences being enjoyed by young musicians. Lipsticker recorded during one week in May of 2020. The album "Syzygy" details the airwaves with influences like Smashing Pumpkins, Led Zeppelin, Beach House, Cranberries, Velvet Underground and My Bloody Valentine.
Lipsticker, a band? No, a syzygy, what does that mean? From band kids bums and athletes, when the crowds are gone, the music is gone, but it remains. Lemon squeezy and sleepy thinking, however, no sleep, but waves of blue wash. Like a butterfly dipped in hot sauce. Not spicy, but with some edge, Lipsticker.
